TERRAIN Heli Guides has over 50,000 hectares of heli skiing and boarding country to choose from. Exclusive access to these areas enables runs of 2,000 - 4,000 foot vertical from intermediate through to the steep and challenging. Our Chief Guide and snow safety officers carefully select the terrain we utilise on the day after consideration of weather patterns, snow conditions and client skiing ability.
SAFETY Heli Guides follow a comprehensive snow and weather monitoring programme. All clients and guides are equipped with avalanche transceivers. Guides carry and are trained in the use of first aid, survival gear and radios. Heli Guides utilise modern turbine powered helicopters and pilots have extensive local and mountain flying experience.Normal
GUIDES Providing a safe and enjoyable experience is always Heli Guides first priority. Your team of professional mountain guides are expert skiers and will do everything they can to help you enjoy your day. We ski in small groups with an average client-to-guide ratio of 3:1. Guides are UIAGM/NZMGA certified and/or specialists in snow and mountain safety.Normal

INFORMATION Heli Guides operates every fine day from the end of June to early October. All operations are weather dependent and subject to the discretion of the Guides and Pilots.
Prices are quoted in New Zealand dollars and include 12.5% Goods and Services Tax. Minimum numbers may apply.
