Suggested Itinerary

Arrival Arrive Auckland - You will be met Auckland International Airport by your private guide and transported to your accommodation. Your private guide and driver will be on standby for optional touring in Auckland this afternoon. Auckland  known as the 'City of Sails' and Home of the America's Cup has one of the world's most beautiful harbours. With its subtropical climate, extensive parks and the nearby islands of the Hauraki Gulf, Auckland offers much to residents and visitors alike with idyllic, secluded bays and beaches located a short distance from the city center.

Day 1 Auckland to Taupo - Depart Auckland aboard your private 'Over The Top' helicopter for a flight to Waiheke Island for morning tea. Continue to the Coromandel Peninsula for lunch on a coastal beach. Fly over Rotorua and the Geyserland region, to Taupo's Huka Lodge.Taupo is located within the volcanic central plateau region of the North Island.  Lake Taupo is a crystal clear lake of some 240 square miles (the size of Singapore Island) and provides year round rainbow and brown trout fishing amid unsurpassed scenery and natural beauty.

Day 2 Taupo - Optional Private Helicopter Tours;  White Island Volcano, Guided fly fishing for trout in remote waters. Lake Taupo or Tarawera boat fishing, Waitomo Glowworm CavesWhakarewarewa Maori Village. Evening Cocktails will be arranged for you, a chance to unwind with the locals in true New Zealand style.

Day 3 Taupo to the East Coast - Board your private helicopter and fly across to the Hawkes Bay. Land at the vineyard where your private guide will introduce you to some of New Zealand's finest wines. Enjoy a vineyard luncheon and a Marae visit. The Pacific Ocean provides a stunning backdrop to the Hawke's Bay renowned as one of New Zealand's richest agricultural areas including viticulture. The long established wine-growing region has produced some of the finest wines of almost every variety.

Continue by helicopter to your accommodation at Palliser Bay stopping en route at a private homestead for afternoon tea. Wharekauhau Lodge estate and its three adjoining properties comprise of 5000 acre working sheep station of forests, lakes, mountains, bush and open country as well as 16 miles of dramatic coastline, which offers endless opportunities for recreation.

Day 4 Martinborough - Optional Private Helicopter Tours; Sea fishing with local Crayfishermen, Visit Wellington and the Te Papa Museum, Visit Martinborough, the famous Pinot Noir area, enjoy a remote beach excursion or horse riding.

Day 5 Martinborough to Kaikoura to Marlborough - Today we fly to the South Island and the Kaikoura coast, swim with the dolphins or whale watch. Enjoy a fresh crayfish platter. Fly across land to the Marlborough Sounds bound for The Lodge at Paratiho Farms.

Day 6 Nelson Lakes - Optional Private Tours; Sea kayaking, Bush walks in the Abel Tasman National Park, remote beach activities.

Day 7 Nelson to Queenstown - Board your private 'Over the Top' helicopter for the wild west coast and the majestic Southern Alps. Fly around Mount Cook ( 3,764m in height ) and the Glaciers where you stop for lunch and a Glacier walk. Follow the coast south over World Heritage Parks to Queenstown. Weather may dictate we take the East Coast, whereby we would enjoy a visit to the Albatross Colony at Taiaroa Head  the only mainland-breeding colony in the world and a tour of the unique yellow-eyed penguin colony. The day ends in Queenstown with many accommodation options, including Eichardts Private Hotel, Matakauri Lodge or Blanket Bay.

Day 8 Queenstown - Queenstown is set on the shores of Lake Wakatipu amidst the massive peaks of the Southern Alps in what is considered one of the most scenic settings in the world. Known as the adventure capital of New Zealand, Queenstown offers a variety of adrenaline activities yet also presents a wonderful haven in which to relax. At leisure, your private guide and driver are available for you to enjoy optional touring of your choice in Queenstown today.

Day 9 Fiordland and Stewart Island Day Trip - No trip to New Zealand is complete without seeing Milford, Fiordland and Stewart Island. The Southern most tip of New Zealand. Your private 'Over The Top' helicopter will whisk you away. You will view waterfalls, rainforest and mountains, with the possibility of seeing a resident pod of bottlenose dolphins and a colony of fur seals. Rare Fiordland crested penguins are sometimes encountered. Stewart Island gives us options of sea fishing, bush walks on Ulva Island and eco tours.

Day 10 Queenstown - Your last day in Paradise before you start you journey northwards to Christchurch and beyond.
