Flight Overview
Your pilot will take you on a tour over the world’s southern most farming land. Pass the closest city to Antarctica, Invercargill. Cross the Foveaux Strait, to Stewart Island.
Covered in dense native bush, bird filled rain forest, pristine sand dunes, wetlands and remote sheltered bays we will introduce you to the geology and the geography of Stewart Island, known as the “Anchor of Maui’s Canoe”.
New Zealand’s third largest island and one of the best kept secrets. From Patterson inlet take a boat to explore bays, sit back and relax or fish for your lunch before stopping on Ulva Island where native birds will approach and dance over head.
Lunch will be served to suit either on board the private charter or at a local pub with fresh blue cod on the menu
Leave the island behind and helicopter to the Mainland crossing Foveaux Strait from Stewart Island.
